Forum With the Chief and Command Staff, Monday - November 3rd, 2014, 6:00 PM @ TPD
Do you want to meet the new Cheif? Do you have anything you want the Chief to know about his agency and officers? Are there any questions you would like to ask? This is the event for you! Come spend some time with the Chief, give your feedback and hear with he has to say. This event has limited seating. You must RSVP to attend. Tour Joint Dispatch Center May 27th, 2014
I excited to announce an exciting training opportunity! We will be touring the Joint Dispatch Center. The tour begins at 7:00 PM. The Joint Dispatch Center is located west of Tom Brown Park next to the animal service center.
If you plan on attending, please email Officer Sean Wyman (sean.wyman@talgov.com) so we can get an accurate head count.
Property and Evidence
Have you ever wondered where evidence goes when it is impounded by the Police? Maybe you want to know how it is handled and more importantly how accountability is managed? On September 9, 2013 at 6:00 pm, at the Tallahassee Police Department we will provide the answers. I have been working on this one for some time now and we finally got it together. Johnnie Jones the Supervisor for the Property and Evidence Unit will be hosting a presentation on his unit. The presentation will start at 6pm and should go no later than 8pm. You will get to see how evidence is secure, handled, managed, and accounted for. You will also get the opportunity to tour the Property and Evidence section. Please set the date on your calendar now. The only requirement is you need to be an Alumni Member. If you are not one, no problem. Come that night, sign up for the Alumni at the pro-rate for the rest of this year and enjoy the presentation. You don’t want to miss this. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Gang Awareness Event, Hear from a former gang member!
On July 15th 2013 at 6:30 PM, the Tallahassee Police Department will host a Gang Awareness event for the TCPAAA members. The presentation will be hosted by Officer Scherri Bryant. The focus will be on Gangs and Gang awareness. Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a Gang Member? What is the life style really like? Do you really live large? Now will be the chance to find out by hearing the story of a former gang member from right here in Tallahassee. Must be an active TCPAAA member to attend. Look forward to seeing you there!
